When I first tweeted out that I was saying at the Renaissance Sea World with my family, I got a response from someone that said, “have a blast! Best pools for kids in the entire Orlando area!”
We hadn’t even been to the pools yet and I haven’t been to every pool in Orlando so I don’t know that I can make that statement but I will say that the pools at this hotel were some of my kids favorites!
There are 3 pool areas – a regular pool with two hot tubs, and then there are two “water parks” for kids. One is supposedly the toddler one and the teen one but with two boys ages 9 & 6 I’ll say that both areas work for all ages. My boys loved what is called the “teen” section where they were able to shoot each other with water guns and go down the water slides. You can see from the photos what a blast they had! (Yes, that’s my kid at heart hubby shooting back at my 9 year old!)
The folks at check-in were so nice and gave us an upgrade to a suite so we were styling in our room! Our family of four had a one bedroom suite with tons of space:
And this was the view from our window! You can see that the hotel is situated literally across the street from Sea World. We walked to and from the park on Saturday which was just awesome.
Thanks to a tip from our guy at check-in, the concierge also hooked us up with some “fast passes” for Sea World too! We actually never had to use them since there were no lines on the day we visited but that’s a tip I had to share for folks who may be traveling to the hotel at a busier time of year.
Overall, we had a fab two nights at this hotel and would definitely go back given how we feel about Sea World.
Book a room and find our more info on the Renaissance Sea World Hotel website. (it’s a Marriott property.)
